I hit six figures in 6 months. Here's how I'm doing it again.

Six months after I walked away from my corporate job in 2020, I hit my first six figures in business.

No website.
No viral content.
No launch calendar.

What I did have? A strategy I now call the Hot 100.

It was simple: I built a list of 100 people I had a real relationship with—colleagues, mentors, collaborators, even folks I’d met at events—and I pitched them.

I didn’t wait to “build a brand.” I didn’t wait to “get found.”
I made the ask. I offered help. And it worked.

Fast forward to now: It’s almost six months since I left my second corporate job—this time after maternity leave and a big internal reset. And if I’m being honest? I didn’t hit my goals this time around.

Not yet.

But here’s what I realized: I don’t need to chase content or start from scratch.
I need to go back to what I know works.

So I’m rebuilding. Not by trying harder—but by returning to strategy.
The Hot 100 strategy.

I kind of kicked it off in late March but I wasn't fully committed. However, last week I closed a high four-figure contract… while on vacation and I said to myself "Brianca, stop playing & go close these contracts." So Reader, the party is just getting started.

This next season is about doing it again—with even more clarity, structure, and peace.

Strategy Snapshot:

When I first used the Hot 100, I didn’t have fancy assets or funnels.
Just a Google Sheet and a clear offer.

I made a list of 100 people I could reach out to: people I’d worked with, helped, collaborated with, or been in the room with.

Some said yes right away. Some referred me. Some needed follow-up.

But that list helped me lock in the contracts that built my first six figures.

And now? I’m using the same method to regrow—paired with content like this newsletter, my Private Pivot Plan & Private Pivot Podcast, and targeted outreach. And it's already working.

Start by listing 20 people you’ve worked with or collaborated with in the past. Don’t overthink it. Your next client is likely already in your network—you just haven’t pitched them yet.
