Over the past 2.5 years, I’ve struggled to juggle endless Zoom meetings, running a business, and being a present wife and mom. It has at times felt like a constant of cycle of failure and running on fumes.
I have let so many things dictate my time, my energy, and my priorities without really stepping back to ask myself what I wanted and needed.
But over the last year I took a step back to really dream about the life I truly wanted for my family and one thing became clear: It was time to stop building someone else’s vision and start investing in my own.
So, I made the scariest—and most liberating—decision of my career (again):
I quit my job as a Senior Marketing & Communications Officer for a global nonprofit.
This wasn’t an impulsive decision. In fact, when it was revealed that this is what God wanted for me, I asked him to share the vision with my husband so he would come and tell me it was time.
... and he did.
It was a strategic leap of faith rooted in knowing my expertise wasn’t tied to a 9-to-5 or my job title. Instead, it’s in the strategy, skills, and personal brand I’ve been honing for over a decade.
Now, I’m stepping fully into this new season, one where I’m prioritizing my mental health, savoring more moments with my husband and child, and reigniting the fire to grow this beautiful community of women like you who are ready to reclaim their time and build businesses (and lives) they love.
